Microsoft Streamlines Partner Incentive Program with Icertis Contract Management (ICM) Platform Microsoft is a multinational technology corporation that develops, manufactures, licenses and supports a wide range of software products for computing devices. B U S I N E S S C H A L L E N G E Microsoft works with its network of more than 650,000 partners to jointly sponsor events across the globe. Those partners earn incentive payments for driving additional customers and generating licensing revenue for Microsoft. Microsoft's existing solution for handling partner-incentive contracts was excessively time-consuming. Many of the steps in the process involved disparate and poorly integrated systems. Tools were manual or only partly automated. There was very little standardization. Multiple back-and-forth emails were often required to verify proof of execution, which came in many forms such as photographs, scanned copies, videos, and receipts. As a result, partner payments were often delayed and the partner experience was inconsistent. What's more, the solution was hard to scale, and didn't take advantage of any of the benefits of the cloud. O B J E C T I V E Reduce the administrative cost of contracting and increase velocity. H I G H L I G H T S • Vastly improved partner experience and accelerated payments • Improved contract velocity by 60% • Ongoing ROI through additional customers • Significant gains in productivity ICM simplifies process for onboarding partners, verifying compliance with contractual obligations, and executing incentive payments.
