Icertis has been named Partner of the Year for 2018 by Microsoft for the US, recognizing our efforts to combine the Icertis Contract Management (ICM) platform with Microsoft technology to help enterprises successfully transform their commercial foundation.
The award names Icertis as Microsoft’s top partner in the US, the company’s largest region, and recognizes Icertis’ excellence in innovation and the proven value of the company’s contract management platform.
We are truly humbled by this award. Microsoft US is the company's largest region, accounting for 50% of the Microsoft's global revenue*. Awards were presented in several categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 2,600 entrants from 115 countries worldwide. Previous Partner of the Year Award winners include tech luminaries such as Accenture, Capgemini, Citrix, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, SAP and Wipro.
Icertis has enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with Microsoft since our founding in 2009. From the beginning, we saw Microsoft's emerging cloud technology as the perfect foundation. So, we built our contract management platform natively on Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft was our first enterprise customer.
As this award shows, our relationship has grown exponentially to encompass global go-to-market reach, region-specific field engagement, and cutting-edge product innovation. The ICM platform combined with Azure allows companies to accelerate, protect and optimize their businesses by streamlining contracting processes and increasing organizational visibility.
We have also focused on ways to leverage Microsoft’s productivity tools to better serve our customers through deep integrations with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Looking forward, we are at the forefront of demonstrating real-world application of Microsoft Azure's Artificial Intelligence capabilities. Icertis' new AI apps leverage Azure AI technology to intelligently parse contract language and attributes at scale for our customers.
In short, Icertis and Azure are combining to redefine what contract management means for enterprises.
Just last week Microsoft highlighted how European automotive giant Daimler, which adopted the Icertis Contract Management platform last year, is using ICM and the ICM Sourcing application to transform its procurement process to better manage 400,000 suppliers. Daimler is also an early adopter of our AI apps, which it will use to reduce cost, manage risk and ensure compliance in the contracting process.
"We chose the Icertis ICM platform and ICM Sourcing app because of their ease of use, ability to address every phase in the contracting and sourcing processes, and seamless integration with third-party systems that support the entire procurement life cycle," Dr. Stephan Stathel, Operations Lead for New Procurement System at Daimler, told Microsoft for the article. "The deployment optimizes the source-to-contract process by ensuring best-in-class supplier evaluation, selection, contracting, and collaboration."
Being recognized as Partner of the Year by Microsoft, the largest software company in the world with the largest partner ecosystem in the world, is an affirmation of our vision that companies who truly want to digitally transform must start with their contracts.
