U.S—E.U. Privacy Shield
Icertis’s participation in the Privacy Shield applies to all personal data that is subject to the Icertis Privacy Statement and is received from the European Union and the European Economic Area. Icertis will comply with the Privacy Shield Principles in respect of such personal data.
Icertis’s accountability for personal data that it receives under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfers to a third party is described in the Privacy Shield Principles. In particular, Icertis remains responsible and liable under the Privacy Shield Principles if third-party agents that it engages to process the personal data on its behalf do so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Icertis proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
We encourage you to contact us should you have a Privacy Shield-related (or general privacy-related) complaint by using the information provided on the “Contact Us” page on the Icertis Web Site. For any complaints that cannot be resolved with Icertis directly, Icertis has chosen to use JAMS as the recourse mechanism (as further described in the Privacy Shield Principles). As further explained in the Privacy Shield Principles, a binding arbitration option will also be made available to you in order to address residual complaints not resolved by any other means. Icertis is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Collection of your Personal Information
Depending on the context in which you interact with us, Icertis may collect or receive personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number and company information such as business address and employee count. We may collect this information when you submit requests to us or send us email in the context of our relationship as an actual or potential service provider to you. We also might obtain information from third party business partners, such as contact information provided by any of our referral partners.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by Icertis on the Icertis Web Site. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring web site addresses. This information, which does identify individual users, is used by Icertis to sell and market Icertis’s services, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Icertis Web Site.
Use of your Personal Information
Icertis collects and uses your personal information to operate the Icertis Web Site and deliver the Platform and related services. Icertis may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Icertis and its affiliates.
Icertis may share data with affiliates and subsidiaries, trusted partners and our own service providers, to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, and support our business and the services and Platform we provide. When sensitive information (such as log-in credentials) is submitted, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Data Processed through the Icertis Platform
Icertis may process customer personally identifiable information and third party personally identifiable information under the direction of our Customers, who are the controllers of that data. We have no ownership of this information of individuals whose personally identifiable information may be processed as part of the use of our Platform.
An individual who seeks access to their data, seeks to correct, amend or delete inaccurate data, or that wishes to opt-out of communications sent from us on behalf of an Icertis customer, should direct his/her query to the Icertis customer he/she interacts with directly (the data controller). If an Icertis customer requests that we remove personally identifiable information on their behalf, we will respond to their request within 30 days.
Icertis may transfer personal information to other companies that help us manage our Platform. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our customers.
Clients who use the Icertis Platform may submit the personal information of other individuals at their organization to register them as authorized users. It is the customer’s obligation, as the data controller, to inform its authorized users about the purposes for which information about them is collected and may be used on this Platform.
Data Subject Rights
Taking into account the nature of the processing, Icertis shall at all times cooperate with and assist our customers in so far as possible to enable them to meet applicable deadlines and requirements under applicable data protection laws in relation to a data subject’s right (i) of rectification of personal data, (ii) of erasure of personal data, (iii) to restriction of processing of personal data, (iv) to portability of personal, (v) to object to the lawfulness of the processing of personal data, and (vi) to not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.
Icertis AMPLIFY 2020 Conference Registrant Terms and Conditions
These Icertis AMPLIFY 2020 Conference Registrant Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the relationship between you (“You” or “Registrant”) and Icertis, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Icertis”) in connection with your registration, participation and presence at Icertis AMPLIFY 2020 (“Conference”) and any communication and information you exchange with Icertis in connection with the Conference.
By registering for the Conference, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
1) Registration and Participation.
Advance registration is required to attend the Conference. Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of the confirmation email which also includes additional information regarding the Conference. Registrant must be at least 21 years of age to register for the Conference. Icertis and the venue hosting the Conference (“Venue”) reserve the right, at their sole discretion and with no additional liability, to refuse entrance, immediately remove and terminate the participation of any Registrant whose conduct is deemed objectionable, disorderly, or disruptive to Icertis, the Conference, or the Venue, or in violation of any law.
2) Conference Cancellation.
In the event that the Conference is cancelled by Icertis, any fees incurred for the cancellation of travel and hotel reservations are the exclusive responsibility of Registrant.
Conference materials, including the agenda, are provided for information purposes only and are subject to change. Icertis shall not be liable for damages of any kind resulting from errors or omissions in its Conference materials, nor shall Icertis be liable for any damages resulting from the use of its Conference materials or other information conveyed at the Conference. Icertis may provide information or statements about planned or potential products or services features at the Conference. Such statements are not a commitment of any kind by Icertis that such features or products or services will ever be made commercially available or available according to any specific timeframe. Icertis may change its plans regarding future product or service releases at any time for any or no reason. If Registrant elects to provide feedback or product or service improvement suggestions about Icertis products or services to Icertis personnel at the Conference, Registrant does so freely without any reservation of rights, and places no restrictions on Icertis as to the use of such feedback or suggestions.
The views expressed by any Conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or co-sponsor are not necessarily those of Icertis. All Conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and co-sponsors are solely responsible for the content of their respective individual or corporate presentations, marketing collateral, or advertising. Registrant hereby waives, releases from liability, assumes all risks, and covenants not to sue Icertis, its employees, agents, or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that Registrant may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the Conference.
4) Collection & Use of Personal Information.
Icertis may collect personal information from Registrant on a voluntary basis, which may include name, email address, job title, company/organization, address, phone number and similar personally identifiable information in order to complete Conference registration, share information related to the Conference, respond to inquiries, and administer participation in the Conference. Icertis may also collect Registrant’s image, audio and likeness (as captured in photographs or on recordings at the Conference) for marketing and promotional activities.
Icertis may share personal information provided by Registrant with the Conference co-sponsors, which may be used by such co-sponsors to contact Registrant regarding their services. Any such use of Registrant’s personal information by co-sponsors is subject to the privacy policies of the co-sponsors. Though Icertis makes reasonable efforts to only have co-sponsors that are reputable partners, Icertis cannot control their privacy practices in every instance regarding personal information Registrant voluntarily provides to them. Except as described herein, Icertis will not disclose Registrant’s personal information to any other third party without consent except where required to do so by law.
5) Security of Personal Information.
Icertis reserves the right to change, amend, add or remove any of the above Terms & Conditions in its sole discretion and without prior notice. If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions should become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply.

A session cookie is used to identify a particular visit to our website. These cookies expire after a short time, or when you close your web browser after using our website. We use these cookies to identify you during a single browsing session, such as when you log into our website.
ICM by default creates non-persistent sessions for users. The session cookies (FedAuth cookie) generated are non-persistent in nature. The cookie is deleted upon logout and/or browser closure. The cookies are secured with HttpOnly and Secure flags to prevent cookie hijacking. The FedAuth cookie or session token do not contain any personally identifiable information (PII) data or user information. It only transmits information that is required for session establishment.
The other type of cookies ICM uses is an anti-forgery cookie for security purposes. This is a non-persistent cookie secured with HttpOnly. Both the FedAuth and anti-forgery cookies are generated within the platform.
