Icertis Appoints Former ABB Exec as VP of European Operations

Bellevue, WA, August 5, 2015: Icertis recently announced the appointment of Michael Firlie as its Vice President of European Operations. With over 25 years of management experience in IT and IT sourcing, Michael brings his extensive knowledge of IT procurement to the fast-growing contract management software provider.

In his new role, Michael will establish and shape Icertis’ presence in Europe, expanding sales reach and brand recognition internationally. He will be based out of Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to joining Icertis, Michael worked for ABB as the Head of Global IS Sourcing Operations, where his team was responsible for over $1 billion in direct and indirect IT hardware and software spend. In addition to his work at ABB, he consulted Swiss clients on Telecom and IT service delivery projects and was a Business Development Manager for Spirent Communications for the DACH region. Michael is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel who served 20 years in Communications, extensively in Europe and as part of the 82nd Airborne.
