Shirish has more than 20 years of experience in the software development world in various areas, including C/C++, open source technologies and Microsoft stack. People, process and technology are his three defining pillars, contributing to an abiding passion for product engineering to put together solutions that solve complex enterprise problems using distributed systems. He began his career with IBM, where he got an opportunity to extend and enhance the legacy of IBM Poseidon, an award-winning semiconductor factory automation solution to build SiView standard, based on CORBA 2.0 compliant ORB.
He relocated to the U.S. in 1997 and worked on Vitria’s Business Process Management (BPM) platform, BusinessWare, which provides business process integration and business-to-business integration (B2Bi) with major industry giants such as Deutsche Bank, AT&T and Bank of America to solve their enterprise solutions needs. Shirish continued to explore his software engineering passion during his engagements with BladeLogic and BMC Software. In 2009, he joined Icertis and has contributed to the organization’s growth over the years. During the course of his journey so far at Icertis, he has taken on various leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including leading product engineering.
Shirish is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a Master’s in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. He lives in Pune, India, with his wife and son. He is an avid reader and loves photography. A nice book on a quiet afternoon or exploring an exotic location with his D7000 keeps him charged.
