With more than 25 years’ experience building field operations, Peter Boit brings a wealth of valuable experience to the leadership team. As Chief Alliances Officer, his charter is to build the best partner network in the industry.
Most recently, Peter built field operations and was responsible for all revenue as Executive Vice President of Sales for Smartsheet, a leader in collaborative work management. Prior to Smartsheet, Peter served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Juniper Networks. He enjoyed a 17-year career at Microsoft with numerous executive leadership roles including WW Enterprise Partners, WW Commercial Sector Sales and WW Volume Licensing. Before Microsoft, he started his career doing sales at a software startup followed by investment banking on Wall Street.
Peter has a BA from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Peter is big on sports, and he is fanatical about teams from Boston where he grew up. With a family of six, he also enjoys quality time skiing, golfing, hunting and boating. Someday he’s going to tell us how he manages to find the time!
