As Chief Marketing Officer, Jay Lee leads the high-performing global marketing organization at Icertis and is responsible for extending the company’s leadership position in the $30B contract lifecycle management (CLM) market. He is critical in spearheading marketing strategies for brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement across the business.  

Before joining Icertis, Jay made significant strides as the CMO at Avalara, where he shaped the company’s global demand generation and communication strategies to drive commercial growth across markets and customer segments. Under his leadership, Jay’s extensive experience also includes pivotal roles overseeing B2B strategic marketing and business development teams at some of the world’s most recognizable companies, including GE Capital, American Express, and PayPal. 

Jay holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. A resident of Seattle, Jay is married with four kids and a dog. Outside of work, he enjoys competitive tennis.
