Jim Moffatt

Jim Moffatt joined the Icertis Board of Directors and Audit Committee in February 2022. He is a former member of the Icertis Advisory Board.

Moffatt spent the majority of his professional career with Deloitte Consulting (“DC” or “Consulting”). Based in Los Angeles for the past 35 years, he last served as Vice Chairman of the global Consulting business from January 2018 through his retirement at the end of 2018. Prior to retiring as Vice Chairman of Deloitte Consulting at the end of 2018, Moffatt served as Chief Executive Officer of the global Consulting business of the parent (Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC) for nearly three years. Under his leadership, Consulting was the fastest-growing business unit within Deloitte.

Moffatt led the U.S. operations of Consulting for more than four years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer prior to assuming responsibility for global leadership in 2015.
The U.S. consulting business was the fastest growing business unit within Deloitte LLP US, generating nearly half of the firm’s total revenues. Eleven acquisitions were completed, and ventures were launched in several international markets, including China, Germany, India, Japan, and Mexico.
Outside of Deloitte Jim serves on several boards and committees including UCLA Anderson School, Optiv, SparkCognition, Kyriba, Bridgepoint LLC, Centre for Neuro Skills, and more.

Originally from San Diego, Moffatt attended the University of California at San Diego, graduating with a BA in Biology and Management Science in 1981. Moffatt earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1987. He is a 2018 graduate of both the Director’s Consortium at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the Master Class of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Jim and his wife of 32 years, Cynthy, have three children and make their home in South Pasadena.
